Nagoya castle is a fantastic destination to visit. But what some don’t know is there are some great areas surrounding the castle too.
Meijo Koen (Park) is located directly north of Nagoya castle and is a great place to unwind in the busy city.
Especially in Autumn with all the spectacular colours the park and the surroundings of Nagoya castle are particularly beautiful. The park also contains a garden for each of the four seasons and a European style windmill.
South of Nagoya castle are many traditional style resturaunts to choose from with nice clean and open spaces.
To reach Meijo Koen, simply head to the subbway station Meijo Koen station and head west.
